A familiar trio. A fresh start.Example pieces, illustrated. Use your own versions.
A small wardrobe is enough
Begin with three useful pieces.
Pick a base you actually wear.
Choose a top, a bottom and shoes, or a dress / one-piece and shoes. Start with clothes that are available and comfortable today; add a layer or accessory after the base works.
Give each piece honest labels.
In the helper, enter its name, type, main color and dress level: Casual, Smart or Dressy. Those labels guide the suggestions. A photo is a reference for you; the tool does not identify clothing in it.
Choose the occasion, then try it together.
Everyday ideas prioritize casual or smart labels; night-out ideas prioritize smart or dressy labels. The results are combinations to consider. You decide what fits the weather, venue and your style.
Everyday / three pieces / no photo required
01 / Everyday
Let a simple base do the work.
A black T-shirt, blue jeans and white sneakers make an easy example to start with. Keep the shape you like: a loose T-shirt or a closer fit, straight jeans or a wider leg. The helper does not evaluate those fit details, so try the pieces on together.

Blue jeansBottom · Blue · Casual
White sneakersShoes · White · Casual
In the helper: choose An everyday kind of day. With these three entries, the helper suggests an Everyday separates idea with no missing core pieces.
Make one change: try another top you own before changing the whole outfit. Enter its real color and dress level so the suggestions reflect that swap.
Night out / a one-piece base / one optional accent
02 / Night out
Give one detail the lead.
A black dress and black ankle boots form the base. A red scarf adds a different color without replacing the pieces you already like. Wear the scarf the way you prefer, or leave it off if the simpler combination feels better.

In the helper: choose A night out. These entries return a Night-out one-piece idea; the scarf is an optional accessory. Smart and Dressy describe your pieces, not a guarantee that a venue accepts them.
Make one change: if you prefer separates, start with a top and bottom you would label Smart or Dressy. Keep the shoes you can comfortably wear for your plans.
Halloween / a pirate-inspired starting point
03 / Halloween
Find the beginning of a costume.
A white button-down shirt, black trousers and black ankle boots can become the base of a pirate-inspired idea. This example starts with three ordinary wardrobe pieces; it does not pretend you already own the finishing accessory.

Missing from this example wardrobe
Bandana, eye patch or pirate hat
The pirate idea lists this choice as missing. Check what you own before adding anything. If you do have a bandana, enter it as an Accessory and use its actual name and color.
In the helper: choose A Halloween costume idea. Themes use category, color and some clothing-name keywords. They are starting points, not costume recognition from a photo. Other themes may reuse some of the same clothes.
A suggestion is a starting point
Keep what feels like you.
If a suggestion feels off
Check the entries first. A coat labeled as a top or a dress entered as a bottom changes the combinations. Correct the category, main color or dress level with Edit, then choose Find my outfit ideas again. Photos do not override the labels.
If a card lists a missing piece
“Missing” means the helper did not find a matching entry in this wardrobe. It has not searched the rest of your closet. Add a piece only if you have it, or use the idea as a partial starting point.
Before leaving the outfit helper
Turn on Remember my wardrobe on this device if you want an optional browser copy, or use Export wardrobe to keep a JSON backup. Without device saving, leaving or refreshing the helper clears its session. Exports contain any photos you added; keep those files private unless you intend to share them. Read about privacy and local saving.
